Support for Small Businesses when the Bank says "no"

State backed Microfinance Ireland can provide unsecured loan funding for small business owners with a sensible business plan in place.

Microfinance Ireland provides unsecured loans of €2,000 to €25,000 to qualifying small businesses, many of whom are directed to it through the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) network, often after being turned down for a bank loan. The average loan amount is €14,000.

Also on offer to successful applicants is free mentoring through the LEO Network. It is a concern if small businesses are not planning for Brexit.
